8 Days Istanbul – Ephesus – Pamukkale – Cappadocia Budget Tour
Day 1- Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, we will pick you up from airport and transfer you to your hotel, free time and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2- Istanbul-Half Day Bosphorus Tour ( B )
After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for a half day morning Bosphorus tour for a memorable day. You will have a chance to see; Spice Market, Golden Horn, City Walls and you will admire the beauty of the Bosphorus shores and its most expensive pavillions and palaces.
End of the tour, transfer to your hotel and free afternoon on your own to discover the historical peninsula.
We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to bus station to take an overnight bus to Kusadası or Selcuk by comfortable, air-conditioned, non-smoking bus.
Day 3- Istanbul to Izmir -Ephesus Tour ( L )
Upon arrival, transfer to our agency and start a full guided day tour of the ancient site of Ephesus. We visit Isa Bey Mosque then the remains of the Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Afterwards, we continue to the stunning main site of Ephesus, undoubtedly the best preserved Greco-Roman city. Unforgettable highlights of the ruins are the Celsius Library, Agora, Theater, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple and Roman Latrines. Following a lunch break, visit the House of Virgin Mary; supposedly where she was brought by St. John and where she spent her final days.
After the tour, you will be transfered to your hotel and overnight in Kusadası or Selcuk.
Day 4- Pamukkale Tour ( B / L )
After breakfast at your hotel in Kusadası or Selcuk then you will be picked up from the hotel then driven to Pamukkale which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertines and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. Because of its fluffy white aspect it is known as “Cotton Castle” in Turkish. Visit the travertines and the Ancient City of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis in Anatolia with 1200 gravestone . The sacred pool also is one of the main highlights of the historic site. The shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient Roman ruins which lie below.
At the end of the tour, you will take an overnight bus to Cappadocia which will take about nine hours by comfortable, air-conditioned, non-smoking bus.
Day 5- Cappadocia – North Tour ( L )
Upon arrival Cappadocia transfer to our agency and start a full day guided tour of Northern Cappadocia. We then visit the monastic complex of Goreme Open Air Museum with its amazing rock-hewn architecture and vibrant frescoes; Uchisar Rock Castle, the highest point of the rocky region; the lunar landscape of Devrent Valley; the charming town of Avanos – famous throughout Turkey for its pottery and painted tiles; Pasabag Valley, which has some of the most astonishing fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, Cavusin, an old Christian village and Urgup’s fairy chimneys. End of the tour transfer to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 6 – Cappadocia – South Tour ( B / L )
After breakfast at your hotel departure for your full day guided tour of Southern Cappadocia. Our day begins at Pigeon Valley, where you see thousands of dovecots lining the steep cliff walls. A visit to one of the extraordinary underground cities Derinkuyu where Christians hid in fear and faith. At Selime Village you will be astonished by the beautiful churches carved out of the volcanic tuff rock . Visit Ihlara Valley, the most spectacular gorge in Cappadocia. The Melendiz River has carved an impressive canyon through the verdant valley and we will walk along the river, passing Byzantine rock chapels decorated with frescoes. At the end of the tour you will take an overnight bus to Istanbul which will take about twelve hours by comfortable, air-conditioned, non-smoking bus.
Day 7- Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul in the morning then you will take a free shuttle bus of the bus company to your hotel then it will be your free day to explore or do some shopping in one of the historical markets of Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul
Day 8 – Istanbul ( B )
After breakfast, our tour ends and we say goodbye to our new friends and according to your international flight we transfer you to airport and say ” have a good flight”.
