8 Days Islamic Tour
Day 1- Istanbul
After arrival Istanbul Airport, We will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel, free time and Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2- Bosphorus & Two Continents Tour (B / L )
We pick you up from your hotel then our daily Bosphorus Tour begins with;
Spice Market, heady aromas of its wonderful variety of spices, herbs and sweets.
Golden Horn, the Bosphorus Straits and a natural harbour of the historical peninsula that separates the old and newer parts of old Istanbul.
Bosphorus Cruise is an unforgettable cruise up the Bosphorus, the legendary waterway that links Europe and Asia.
Rumeli Fortress an amazing fortification built by Mehmet the Conqueror in just three months to help him conquer Istanbul and take control of the Bosphorus.
Bosphorus Bridge provides a unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in just under two minutes.
Beylerbeyi Palace was built in 19th century and is one of the the most spectacular palaces in the world.
Camlıca Hill, the highest point of Istanbul.
End of the tour, we transfer you to your hotel.
Note: Beylerbeyi Palace closed on Monday and Thursday, replaced with Chora Museum.
Day 3 – Cappadocia – North Tour ( L )
Early morning, pick up from your Istanbul hotel and transfer to airport, take a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival Cappadocia, you will be met by your guide and start a full day guided tour of Northern Cappadocia. We visit the monastic complex of Goreme Open Air Museum with its stunning rock-hewn architecture and vibrant frescoes; Uchisar Rock Castle, the highest point of this rocky area; the lunar landscape of Devrent Valley; the charming town of Avanos, famous throughout Turkey for its pottery and painted tiles; Pasabag Valley, which has some of the most astonishing fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, Cavusin, an old Christian village and Urgup’s fairy chimneys. End of the tour transfer to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 4 – Cappadocia – South Tour ( B / L )
* Balloon Flight is highly recommended.
After breakfast at your hotel, departure for your full day guided tour of Southern Cappadocia beginning at Pigeon Valley, where you see thousands of dovecots lining the steep cliffs. A visit to one of the extraordinary underground cities at Derinkuyu. At Selime Village you will be astonished by the beautiful churches carved out of the volcanic rocks. Visit Ihlara Valley, the most beautiful gorge in Cappadocia. At the end of your tour you will take a bus to Konya which takes about fours hours, arrival and transfer to your hotel and overnight in Konya.
Day 5- Konya ( B )
After you have your breakfast at your hotel in Konya, it will be your free time at leisure. Walk in the old city through Mevlana Museum, historical market area, see the beautiful boutique shops which sells clothes, spices, souvenirs near Aziziye Mosque.
You should taste our world famous ‘Etli Ekmek’ (Turkish pizza) and ‘Fırın Kebabı’ (oven-baked kebab). Konya cuisine has great contributions to Turkish cuisine, try the famous local specialities.
You can visit Aladdin Mosque, Karatay Museum, Ince Minare Museum on your own then late in the afternoon, transfer to airport and flight to Istanbul, arrival and transfer to hotel and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 6-Istanbul – Walking City Tour (B / L )
We pick you up from your hotel in the morning then start our tour in Sultanahmet, the heart of old Istanbul, where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.
Haghia Sophia is one the greatest masterpieces of Byzantine architecture, built as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.
Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. It takes its name from the exquisite coloured Iznik tiles that decorate the interior, and it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.
Hippodrome was the centre of sporting and social events during the Byzantine Empire.
Grand Bazaar is the oldest and largest covered market in Turkey, situated in the centre of the old city.
Topkapı Palace was the principal residence of the Ottoman Sultans and houses a fabulous collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, jewels and costumes as well as exhibiting imperial treasury and the sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed.
Note: Monday: Hagia Sophia closed, replaced with Chora Museum,
Tuesday: Topkapı Palace closed, replaced with Turkish and Islamic art museum
Sunday: Grand Bazaar closed.
Day 7- Daily Green Bursa Tour ( B )
The first capital city of the Ottoman Empire!
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Bursa which was the first capital city of Ottoman Empire start to visit the Grand Mosque and the Green Mausoleum, famous for their Iznik tiles. Lunch will be served in a special ‘Iskender Kebap’ restaurant. Visit the historical Covered Bazaar and the old silk Market then climb by Cable Car to Uludag (Olympos) (first stage) mountain overlooking Bursa for the magnificent panoramic view. Late evening drive back to Istanbul and transfer to hotel.
Note: Due to weather conditions when cable car does not operate as restaurant, we go up the mountain by bus to visit a 600 years old pine tree and enjoy the breath-taking the view.
Day 8- Istanbul ( B )
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say good bye to our new friends and according to your international flight we transfer you to airport and say ” have a good flight ”.
