8 Days Athens, Santorini, Naxos

Day 1: Athens
Welcome to Athens! We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you have time to settle in and relax.

Day 2: Athens

Athens as a city goes back to mythological times. Our expert guide will uncover for you the treasures of Athens during your morning sightseeing tour. Visit the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian´s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University the National Library and the Constitution Square. We continue our with a visit to Acropolis, the wold-famous symbol of democracy, education and inspiration. Your tour will end with the visit to the remarkable Acropolis Museum. Free time to explore at leisure in the afternoon.

Day 3: Athens – Santorini

In the morning we transfer you from your hotel to the port to take the ferry to the island of Santorini. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and then you will have the rest of the time to enjoy the amazingly beautiful  Greek island.

DAY 04: Santorini
(Breakfast included)
Day at leisure to discover the island. With its whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and never-ending vineyards, Santorini is Greece at its traditional best. You can choose to join an optional island tour aith an English-speakig escort inside a luxury, air-conditioned vehicle. For this optional tour, the first stop is Pyrgos. Situated on the highest point of Santorini, the village offers an idyllic glimpse of traditional old-world Greece. Follow your guide along the meandering paths and make your way to the hilltop ruins of a medieval Venetian castle. From here, gaze out over the entire island, taking in the stunning views all the way to the village of Oia, the Greek village known for its incredible sunsets. Continue driving to the highest area of the island Profitis Elias with a short photo stop.Continue to Oia village passing through villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli. Stroll along the picturesque streets with your guide, learning about the history of the village of Oia. Return to  your hotel.

Day 5: Santorini – Naxos

Free morning to relax or explore at leisure. Early in the afternoon transfer to the port to take the ferry to the island of Naxos. Naxos is the largest and greenest island of the Cyclades with imposing high mountains, fertile valleys, lush gorges, stunning seascapes and moutain villages where the inhabitants still wear traditional local costume. Upon arrival in Naxos you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy.

Day 6: Naxos

Enjoy your day free. You will be amazed by the beautiful old churches, monasteries and Venetian castles coexisting harmoniously with the cube-shaped houses of the Cyclades. Visit the Venetian town of Hora and enjoy its unique medieval architecture. Kastro, a hilltop castle dating to the 13th century, houses an archaeological museum.

Day 7: Naxos – Athens

Free morning.  Midday transfer to the port to take the ferry to Piraeus port in Athens. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Settle in and relax.

Day 8: Athens Airport
